Team Whitburn enjoyed making music at The National Youth Brass Bands of Scotland last week.
Twenty-five members of the Whitburn Band organisation were in attendance. Twenty players were students, while five Whitburn players - Evelyn Bradley, Caroline Farren, Charlie Farren, Heather McMillan and Chris Shanks - were tutors.
Congratulations to our Principal Baritone player Charlie Boax who won this year's NYBBS solo competition, and well done to her and Whitburn's Principal Tenor Horn Andrew McMillan who were both named Principals at NYBBS.
Meanwhile, our Principal Cornet player Chris Bradley was working as a tutor at The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain course.
