It is time for a little trip down memory lane.
Chris Blair was the Principal Cornet player with Whitburn Band when Whitburn became the first Scottish band to win a National title – the Third Section in 1954.
He gives his memories of that special day, and also reveals what it was like to be a member of Whitburn during the Second World War.
Chris was interviewed by Robert Fraser, as part of a series of events to mark the band’s 150th anniversary year.
